Chopiniana 2026: A Memorable Celebration of Chopin at the American Polish Cultural Center

What an amazing evening at the American Polish Cultural Center!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for “Chopiniana” and helped make this such a special event. The performance by the incredibly talented Cezary Karwowski was truly beautiful and a wonderful celebration of the music and legacy of Fryderyk Chopin.

Thank you to the American Polish Cultural Society for presenting this memorable afternoon, and to everyone who came out to support Polish culture, music, and the arts.

The beautiful music, the atmosphere, the champagne and hors d’oeuvres, it was an afternoon to remember!

Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday at APCC on October 10, 2026

Join us at the American Polish Cultural Center on Saturday, October 10, 2026, for an elegant gala celebrating the 250th birthday of the United States.

Presented by the Polish American Congress, Michigan Division, in partnership with the American Polish Cultural Society, this special evening will bring members, friends, and families together to honor America’s history and the journeys that have connected generations to this country.

Enjoy a delicious dinner, an open bar, delightful desserts, and live music by PLUS. A silent auction will also feature a selection of wonderful items.

The celebration offers an opportunity to reflect on the freedoms and opportunities we share, recognize the contributions of Polish Americans, and enjoy an evening of fellowship with our community.

A Spectacular Night of PRL Memories at the American Polish Cultural Center

We had a truly spectacular evening as we hosted our very first PRL-themed party at the American Polish Cultural Center. It was a night of firsts, unforgettable moments, and wonderful community spirit.

One of the highlights of the evening was parking a classic Fiat “Maluch” right on our dance floor, creating the perfect centerpiece for a night filled with nostalgia. Guests were also welcomed by a fantastic lineup of vintage vehicles displayed on the front lawn, helping set the tone before the celebration even began.

We are absolutely thrilled with the turnout and grateful to everyone who helped make this event such a success. A tremendous amount of planning, decorating, and organizing went into creating the atmosphere, but it would not have been possible without the support of so many generous people.

First, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who lent us their personal PRL memorabilia. Your generosity helped bring our vision to life and made the evening feel authentic, meaningful, and full of history.

Thank you also to our guests who dressed up for the occasion. Your outfits added so much fun, color, and character to the night, making the celebration even more memorable.

A huge thank you goes to the PLUS band for keeping everyone entertained with the absolute best hits of the PRL era. The music, dancing, and energy made the evening truly special.

We are also deeply grateful to our sponsors for their generous gifts and donations, and to our staff, who fully embraced the theme and looked fantastic while helping everything run smoothly.
