Celebrate “PÄ…czki Day” 2024: Indulge in Traditional Polish Doughnuts

As the winter holiday season ends, Poles seek out pÄ…czki, traditional deep-fried doughnuts filled with sweet fillings like blueberry, apricot, custard, plum, raspberry and strawberry. However, the tradition of Fat Thursday has spread beyond Poland’s borders and is now celebrated in the United States as “PÄ…czki Day” on Fat Tuesday.
