MEET THE AUTHOR – Regina Engelhardt: Sunday, April 2, 1:00 pm

The American Polish Cultural Society invites you to MEET THE AUTHOR – Regina Engelhardt, the author of ”That’s Not A Scar; That’s A Beauty Mark”. “That’s Not A Scar; That’s A Beauty Mark”, is a spiritual and inspirational memoir of Regina Engelhardt’s life as a survivor of the Holocaust in World War II. It depicts the story of her life and true historic events in a deeply personal way that she hopes will benefit all who read and share it. Regina is a Detroit-based artist and visionary born in Poland in 1928. She was only a child when Adolph Hitler’s armies invaded her hometown, Kiwerce, Poland, and displaced her entire family. But the experiences that tarnished her innocence — squalid labor camps and relentless hunger — deepened her compassion and awakened her budding talent and intuition. Her memoir is a treatise to the power of faith and forgiveness. Regina Engelhardt is a Detroit-based artist and mother of three whose award-winning paintings and sculptures are displayed in private homes an museums all over the world.  Book sale and signing will follow. Free Admission.
