We would like to share with a brief history of our organization
In 1985 we became registered as bonafide organization with a membership of 15, by 1989 our membership soared to over 900. It became apparent that a suitable meeting place conveniently located in the Tri-County area would be needed.
A dedicated search was undertaken and 1989 this building and the 12 surrounding acres met the criteria as the future home of A.P.C.C.
The exterior of the building itself has a rather unusual appearance, the variety of construction materials came from many sources and areas within the United States and Europe. The interior contains various woods from prominent residences, such as the Rockefeller Family Estate. Prior to our purchase, the building was an Architectural Museum.
The interior was modified to suit the needs, and purpose of A.P.C.C. was ready to serve our membership and honored guest.
This facility is being used for the membership activities and also serves public attractions such a weekly card parties, ball room and Polish folk dancing, and summer socials. Also, we offer our beautiful banquet facility for weddings, showers, retirement parties, Christenings, graduations, funeral receptions, Christmas Parties, or any other occasion you may have. We are happy to accommodate your needs. Please make your reservation today!
We at the A.P.C.C. believe in growth for The Polish Community as well as our center. As a result of our beliefs, we have added on a beautiful new wing to our already impressive facility. This wing was dedicated February 14, 2004. In conjunction with our existing facility we can now seat 1000 people. Our new wing can be selectioned off for smaller, more intimate gatherings, Whatever your desires, we at A.P.C.C. can make them a reality, by offering the old world charm of our existing hall and the sparkling elegance of our new wing!
The restaurant which features Polish – American Cuisine opened to the public on February 4, 1991 with amazing results and was given an official name on May 10, 2000 of Wawel Restaurant, named after the famous historic castle in Krakow.
We are very proud of our accomplishments and it is our goal that future generations will benefit from our beginnings and continue to carry on the ideals of their Polish Heritage and Culture.
